In recognition of the value international Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) graduates bring to Western Australia (WA), the Western Australian Premier's WACE Bursary will be provided to support successful offshore WACE graduates who commence studies onshore at a WA university.

The bursary funding is to be used by the successful applicants to reimburse expenses related to travelling to WA, cost of living, and can be used to contribute towards education expenses.

Applicants found provisionally successful for award of the Western Australian Premier's WACE Bursary will be required to provide a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) from their selected WA University or Tertiary pathway provider, have attendance onshore in WA confirmed past the census date by the WA University or Tertiary pathway provider, provide evidence of their Australian bank account, execute an agreement with the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, and pass verification checks, made by the Department prior to any payment being made. 

Applications for the Western Australian Premier's WACE Bursary are open and will be awarded on a rolling basis. Please see the guidelines for more information on dates.

Applicants should be aware information pertaining to the receipt of State Government financial support may be tabled in the Western Australian Parliament. This information could include names of recipients and the amounts of financial support. This could result in requests for more detail to be released publicly.
